Crews to Top Off Owensboro Convention Center Friday

You'll have a chance to watch a "topping off" ceremony for Owensboro's new convention center on Friday.
Crews will place the final steel beam into place on the nearly $40 million dollar downtown structure. But the building isn't quite finished yet. Electrical and roof work still needs to be completed at the construction site.
The beam that was signed by the public on Thursday will be bolted into place at 11:45a.m.
