Hoosier Flu Deaths Continue to Increase

Public health officials now say 27 Hoosiers have now died from the flu. 17 of those deaths were reported over just the last week. Officials say most of the people who died had other medical conditions.
The CDC now says the number of flu deaths nationwide are at epidemic levels, meaning more people have died than expected this year.
The flu vaccine is still available. Health officals say it's a good idea to get the shot sooner rather than later.
