The Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau continues to work on a baseball-softball complex, but it is not ready to make an announcement. The bureau is on an 18 month mission to determine if such a facility is worthwhile in Evansville, and if so, where do you put it? It appears the answer to the first question is "yes," but the CVB is not ready to say exactly where it might be built or how big it might be. But we're hoping to know all the answers in the next 30 to 60 days.

"If we can develop something that can generate millions of dollars in local economic direct expendatures and impact," said CVB Director Bob Warrne, "we just want to make sure we do it right."

The bureau says it has two locations in mind for the complex both locations are in the county.
