ISP Denying More Gun Permit Applications

Indiana State Police have denied more gun permit requests in the last two years than any other year, according to a new report from the agency.
The number of Indiana residents whose gun permit requests were denied has nearly doubled in the past two years. Just last year, ISP said no to more than two-thousand applicants.
A state police firearms commander says they are now checking applications even more carefully now that more are coming in.
