An update on that disturbing story we first reported over the weekend. A woman in Evansville found a bag in the street with four dead puppies inside. This happened on Laubscher Rd. near Kratzville. Animal control officers say the dogs were definitely newborn puppies, but they say there's no way of knowing how they died. Authorities say while the animals were improperly disposed of, they cannot be sure the puppies were still born or if someone killed them. We'll keep an eye on the story for any new information.
