IN Online Sales Tax Bill Headed to State Senate

A bill that would force Hoosiers to pay sales tax on some online purchases moves to the Indiana Senate on Wednesday.
The legislation, passed by the Indiana House, would have amazon.com and other online-only retailers start collecting the state's seven-percent sales this summer.
This bill would negate an agreement between Amazon and former Governor Mitch Daniels, that gave the company until next year to start charging the sales tax.
