Pigeon Creek Greenway Named 2012 Trail of the Year in Indiana

The Pigeon Creek Greenway passage is named the 20-12 "Trail of the Year" by the Indiana Greenways Foundation. It's the first time the agency has given awards. The greenway stretches for almost seven miles in Evansville, aAnd was chosen because of it's beautiful riverfront and surroundings. The award also made special mention of the greenway's historical and educational aspects.
