An Evansville woman lost everything after a fire gutted the inside of her house last month.  While she won't get her prized possessions back, some helping hands are starting to restore her home.

More than 10 volunteers are cleaning out the home of Julia Adam in Evansville.  Her Egmont Street home was severely damaged in a fire on January 5th.  The volunteers are working through Community One, a non-profit group focused on restoring and repairing homes.  Adam says she's been thankful for all the help, especially since this was a major job they took on.

"This was a monumental task in my view, but not in God's view," she says.  "And God has met our need."

Adam says other groups have helped her out since the January fire.  This is one of several projects Community One has been involved with in the Evansville area.
