Students Getting a Taste of Life on the Job

Nearly 700 Vanderburgh County 8th Grade students will be absent from class on Friday. Not because they're sick, but because they'll be getting a taste of the real world by heading to work.
It's all part of a job shadow event being organized by Junior Achievement. 83 local businesses have recruited the hundreds of students. J.A. says the purpose is for students to experience what their host's job entails learn skills that the job requires.
