New Alert System For Owensboro Public Schools

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: February 20, 2013
It just became a lot easier for Owensboro parents to stay on top of school closings and safety emergencies.

The Owensboro Public Schools Alerts Messaging System will directly notify parents, students, and teachers.

There are two ways to sign up.  The first is by texting OPS Alerts to 9-9-0-0-0 on your mobile phone.  The second is to sign up through the Owensboro Public Schools' website.  You can find a link to that page on our news links page.
