Kentucky State Police are investigating a murder/suicide near Greenville.

KSP spokesperson, Stu Recke, tells Eyewitness News the shootings happened Thursday morning at a home on KY 853, south of Greenville.  The victims have been identified as 62-year-old Everett Green and his 61-year-old wife, Armilda.

Recke says Armilda's sister-in-law was also in the home at the time of the shootings.  She tells State Police she heard two shots and found the bodies after going to investigate.  She also says there was no indication of that anything was about to happen.

State Police say they believe Everett shot Armilda, then himself.  They say there was no sign of a struggle in the home.

The investigation is ongoing.  We will bring you the latest information later on Eyewitness News.
