An Owensboro man has apparently not learned his lesson and keeps putting other drivers at risk.
A Kentucky State Police trooper says he clocked Shawn Burks going 80 miles an hour in a 55 zone on U.S. 231 near Hartford in Ohio County late Wednesday night.
When he him pulled over, the trooper noticed Burks was very intoxicated.
Turns out, he had been convicted four other times for driving under the influence, including an offense for driving on a suspended license after one of those DUI arrests.
Burks now faces several new charges.
