March Madness Over for UE After Quarterfinal Loss

By: Drew Amman
Updated: March 9, 2013
For the second time in seven days, UE was paired with Indiana State, but the meeting in St. Louis
did not end well for the Aces.  The Sycamores advanced with a 51-50 victory at Scottrade Center
in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.  Just last Saturday, Evansville posted a win on senior day at the Ford Center, 84-68 over the Sycamores when Colt Ryan poured in 31 points.  On Friday in St. Louis, Ryan, the second all-time leading scorer in Aces History, was held to eight points and did not score in the second half.
