A Muhlenberg County family says its still numb after hearing an early morning fire leaves one man dead. The coroner tells us Ronald Noffsinger was pronounced dead at the scene of this mobile home fire around 4 a.m. The fire happened in the town of Bremen on the 8600 block of Highway 70 West. The charred remains of this mobile home fire will haunt Ronald Noffsinger's family for some time, Noffsinger died at the scene, his brother Bobby heard the scanner traffic about this fire and immediately knew the address, "Just hoping he wasn't home" Bobby tells us. There are thirteen total Noffsinger siblings, they've had to deal with their share of losses, "I lost alot of people in my life, and you kind of learn to accept alot of things even through the means and the ways they come to you," Bobby shares. But in a manner such as this, the loss hurts a little more. "That's not the best way to go, in a fire but I just hope he didn't have to suffer through it, it might take today or tomorrow for it to really set in." As one of the oldest, Bobby's focus is now on his brother's funeral, "I prepare myself for the worse and hope for the best, that's where I am at in my life." Also trying to keep his family together with faith leading the way, "I just put everything in the hands of the good Lord." The State Fire Marshall is in town to help determine a cause, no foul play is suspected.
