A Henderson police officer is out of the hospital and recovering at home after an accident Thursday night. Officer Jake Isonhood was responding to a business alarm when he tried to cross U.S. 41 at Watson Lane and was hit. The man who slammed into him says he didn't hear or see the cruiser's lights or sirens because of a loud semi that had stopped. The officer was sent to the hospital and had stitches. No charges were filed.
