Spencer County officials including the school district hope more people sign their online petition for a new stop light. More than 1,300 people have digitally signed in the last few days. They want the light at in front of South Spencer High School, where an 18-year-old student died in an accident this week. The group thinks it is a dangerous area, but the state of Indiana says it doesn't meet the requirement for a new light. They hope the support shown in the petition will change officials' minds.
