Busy Morning For Owensboro Firefighters

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: March 18, 2013
It's been a busy morning for firefighters in Owensboro.  In addition to the fire that destroyed First Christian Church, crews also battled two other overnight fires.

One was in the 2800 block of Tanglewood Drive.  That fire started about 3:00 Monday morning.  Nobody was injured, but investigators are still trying to come up with a cause.

And a fire in the 500 block of Breckenridge broke out just after midnight.  It's not clear if any of the fires were weather related, but there were reports of heavy lightning.  We will bring you the latest information on these fires as it becomes available.
