Marina in Owensboro's Future?

The city of Owensboro may be adding yet another feature to the waterfront development plans.
City officials met Tuesday to talk about turning part of the Executive Inn into a marina.
As work continues on the downtown riverfront, City Commissioners are looking into converting the area that was the showroom lounge.
Officials have done some preliminary research on the project.
Right now the question is whether it could be an inland marina or a seasonal marina.
Next, officials hope to include the public in the discussion.
